The strategic intent of the Old Mutual Education Flagship programme (OMEFP) was to create a programme with coordinated activities and partnerships for positive impact in the education sector. The plan was launched in 2013 as a seven year programme and was in its seventh and last year in 2019.
This Annual Report combines the reporting on Old Mutual Insure’s (OMI) operational activities and is aimed at all interested audiences. The objective of OMI’s Responsible Business and Transformation strategy is to substantially increase OMI’s impact beyond the scorecard to generate economic benefit to the country and to uplift society.
Whilst FirstRand’s Annual Integrated Report focuses on the group’s financial and operational performance, the Report to Society aims to provide deeper insight into the social impact of that performance. FirstRand continues to refine its thinking and processes to better determine and measure this social impact.
