When measuring the impact of corporate social responsibility, milestones are often more meaningful than mere years on the calendar. However, when a journey spans an entire decade, it becomes a moment truly worth celebrating. Recently, CSR News marked a significant 10-year anniversary by introducing two new ventures: – beetroot and CSI Online.
For a full decade, CSR News has been tirelessly dedicated to the field of corporate social responsibility. We can proudly affirm this achievement! Although our team is not particularly keen on traditional birthday celebrations, we recognised that this milestone warranted special recognition. This anniversary symbolises maturity, giving rise to two pivotal concepts.
The first concept was the launch of a programme or product that broadened the horizons of our work. The difficulties posed by the COVID-19 pandemic served as inspiration for this. Our team looked at avenues that would assist corporate clients in finding suitable co-working spaces across South Africa. This endeavour led to the inception of beetroot Magazine, a publication that not only delves into coffee culture but also spotlights the talented individuals working within coffee shops.
We also introduced CSI Online as a visionary platform aimed at revolutionising social responsibility practices in South Africa. This ground-breaking ecosystem empowers organisations to transcend traditional boundaries, redefine their impact and seamlessly integrate their philanthropic and CSI efforts into the digital landscape.
CSI Online represents more than a mere digital transition; it is a dynamic ecosystem that magnifies and optimises CSI practices, offering a multitude of benefits to both organisations and communities. It is an innovative platform that provides invaluable insights in exploring the application of reports, insights, articles, magazines, case studies and more, into corporate social investment efforts, fostering collaboration, and driving impactful social and environmental results. By offering a unique blend of local, continental, and global perspectives, it equips stakeholders with the information they need to make informed decisions and catalyse positive change.
beetroot has evolved beyond being a co-working magazine; it has become a celebration of the creative forces driving various industries. While coffee remains a central theme, the magazine also showcases the work of photographers, interior designers, architects, and fashion designers who frequent coffee shops as they nurture their innovative ideas.
Beetroot aims to be a platform where creative minds can shine. It recognises that coffee shops serve as hubs for start-ups, not only within the coffee industry but also across various creative fields. The magazine’s mission is to capture emerging ventures and promote the co-working environment as a creative hub for the new workforce of the world.
In celebrating maturity and innovation, CSR News demonstrates that corporate social responsibility can continually evolve and adapt to meet the changing needs of our world. Here’s to the next decade filled with impact, creativity and collaboration!
